Hex Color Codes 4.0 is now available on iOS, with Android coming soon to Google Play. The free color and palette app is developed and published by Althea Group Co., Ltd., a Bangkok, Thailand-based company, and version 4.0 is a redesign for modern phones and tablets. Existing iOS users update through the same App Store listing.
Hex Color Codes is a modern color tool for designers, developers, creators and anyone working with color: save your favorite colors, build five-color palettes and explore palettes shared by the community.
What’s in version 4.0
- A redesigned interface with modern phone and tablet layouts, built around color as the visual hero.
- Exact color data: save colors with HEX and RGB values, mark favorites, and fine-tune each color in an interactive editor built around a hue ring.
- Five-color palettes shown over a background drawn from their own colors. Copy a single color or a whole palette, or share it.
- Discover: browse public palettes from the community, search them, filter by color and, with an account, publish your own.
- Sign in your way: email and password, Google, Facebook or Sign in with Apple on iPhone and iPad, or continue as a Guest. Your saved colors can follow you across devices when you sign in.
- Light and dark appearance and optional animated palette backgrounds.
- Account controls: delete your account from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account, after the app shows you what will be removed.
Existing accounts and saved colors are supported, and eligible Remove Ads purchases can be restored. Hex Color Codes is free with ads for eligible users; Remove Ads is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Android
Version 4.0 also brings Hex Color Codes to Android for the first time. It is coming soon to Google Play, and a download link will be added when it is available.
