Althea Group Company Limited ("Althea Group," "we," "us," or "our"), a company based in Thailand, is developing TankBeats, an aquarium tracking and management app for iOS and Android (the "App"). TankBeats has not yet been publicly released. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App is designed to handle and how to contact us with questions, and it will be kept up to date as TankBeats' design is finalized ahead of release.

1. Introduction

TankBeats is designed around a local-first data model: information you enter about your aquariums is designed to be stored on your device rather than in a database we operate.

3. Information Collected Automatically

TankBeats may use third-party services — for example analytics, crash reporting, or advertising — where necessary to operate, support, analyze, or distribute the app. What is automatically collected depends on which services are used. The specific services used, what they collect, and why, will be reflected in this section before TankBeats is released.

4. Local Data

Core aquarium information you enter — aquarium profiles, water-test sessions, and parameter readings — is intended to be stored locally on your device as part of TankBeats' local-first design.

5. Cloud Sync and Backup

TankBeats may offer cloud backup or sync in the future using a third-party cloud-service provider. Whether this capability is available at release, and if so what it stores, where, and how you can control it, will be described in this section before that capability becomes available.

6. Purchases and Subscriptions

TankBeats does not currently publish pricing or subscription plans. If in-app purchases or subscriptions are introduced, this section will describe the payment processor involved and what information it receives before that release — we would not receive or store your full payment-card details in that case, as that is handled by the applicable app store.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell aquarium data or other information you provide to TankBeats. We do not share it with third parties except as necessary to operate a confirmed service named in Section 8 above, or as required by law.

10. Data Retention

Locally stored aquarium data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. If you contact support, we retain that correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and to meet legal or recordkeeping obligations.

11. Data Deletion

You are expected to be able to delete locally stored aquarium data from within the App once that control is available, or by uninstalling TankBeats. If a cloud-storage feature is introduced later, this section will describe how to request deletion of any server-held copy.

12. Children

TankBeats is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details in Section 16 and we will take steps to delete it.

13. Security

We intend to use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by TankBeats. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. International Processing

Any third-party service TankBeats uses (see Section 8) may process information on servers located outside Thailand. This section will describe where processing occurs once the specific services used are confirmed.

15. Changes to This Policy

We expect to update this Privacy Policy as TankBeats' design is finalized ahead of release, and from time to time afterward. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice.
